About gDeskletsgDesklets is a system for bringing mini programs (desklets), such as weather forecasts, news tickers, system information displays, or music player controls, onto your desktop, where they are sitting there in a symbiotic relationship of eye candy and usefulness. The possibilities are really endless and they are always there to serve you whenever you need them, just one key-press away. We're currently transitioning to a new way of installing controls and desklets. This basically means that desklets that are installed via this site need the controls they depend on. These controls need to be installed manually to ~./gdesklets/Controls. February 16th 2007 So to install control X:

New and old developers might want to check out the short info page Login is currently not possible through gdesklets.de because the real domain is at gdesktlets.linuxprofessionals.org and when logging in from gdesklets.de the cookie on your computer is set for gdesklet.de and not for gdesktlets.linuxprofessionals.org. This issue is security related and work-arounds are being considered.
Hopefully the issue will be solved in the future.
